Burnt Rock Technology is a partner to Burnt Rock, Inc., Associates in Community Planning. Burnt Rock was founded in 1997 to serve the social, cultural, and economic needs of citizens of northern New England and upstate New York by providing high quality professional planning assistance to small cities and rural communities.

Burnt Rock assists municipalities, regional and state agencies, non-profit organizations and citizen groups with land use planning, development regulation, community development, cultural and natural resource protection, landscape preservation, public policy, and growth management.
