3b 11e Improved Recycling (11 comments)
Recycling - mandatory/curbside pick up.  Recycling pick up garbage for residents.  While there is an
effort to recycle, garbage pick up w/ recycling would probably increase the recycling effort.  (3)
Excellent!  Fantastic!  (2)
For disabled & elderly - needs reputable trash removal services to come to homes & will pay
monthly fee to town.
Recycling more extensively of plastics
Recycling program with fines or bonuses
Sewer service made available to residents property so that Town makes any road crossings
Closer areas to recycle
Recycling is ok but can be confusing recycling service @ the dump is not very helpful.
Trash removal (pick up)
3b 11f Improved Water (23 comments)
Stop odor from compost at treatment plant.  SMELLS.  Odors from sewer a major concern. The
smell of sewerage downtown & specifically on South Main St. severely hurts our livability.  South
Main Street stinks sometimes.  Smell from sewage treatment plant on S Main St area needs to be
reduced.  Downtown can smell horrible at times because of sewage treatment. (8)
Water sucks! - Have water brought in.  Water needs help.  Water often poor tasting.  (3)
Water & sewer is too expensive.  Lower rates water & sewer for 62 & up. (2)
On some days the water through town is a rusty brown color. I have seen this year round at different
times.  Water rusty a lot of the time. (2)
Would like more info on quality of water & testing. All tests should be publicized & sent to residents -
test results should be provided - both good & bad.
Very good
Problems at Water & Sewer dept. supervision? Personnel? Environmental cleanup, overstaffed?
Under trained?
The water dept. does not encourage conservation because they charge for 10,000 gallons even if
less is used. We need better conservation pricing encouragement.
We need to look at how we can be more responsible by diverting compost-waste-recyclables in a
more useful, effective way.
Not in the last 5 years or so. Remove politics from PVWASD - sell it to a utility management
company.
Because of more population.
Continued positive tests for bacteria at wells.
