Question VII - Major Capital Needs - Third Highest Priority:
Roads (20 comments - 25%)
Better-plowed roads. Continue improvements to No/So Main Street - Monitor orderly development
of Tenney Mtn. Highway. Fix Highland Street (bumps, potholes). Green Street to Route 3
connection. Major road repair. Move the highway garage. Repave Highland (Hannaford end) & redo
road/traffic pattern at school to incorporate a light and left turn lane. Re-paving. Re-paving the rest
of Highland. Resurface the rest of Highland St. Road & sidewalk repairs. Road repairs.
Roads/parking. Roads/sidewalks must handle more traffic! Roundabout NO. Sidewalk to Hatch
Plaza. Streets & sidewalks - repaving old problems just means same old problems in a few years.
Do it right & save in the long run. Tenney Mt. Hwy. /sidewalks. Traffic lights on Rte 25 needed to
control flow of traffic. .

Aggressively recruit high tech into area. Building maintenance. Develop land owned next to Pemi -
hwy garage. Expand/improve public library. Fire trucks. Get safety vests for ALL police in Plymouth.
Housing. Information systems. Land conservation trust, preservation of land. Law enforcement: up-
to-date technology. Library. Police bicycles. Put hoods on all lights. Sell current Town Hall, apply $$
toward safety complex. The library will need an expansion.
Public Safety Facility (8 comments 10%)
Fire/Police facilities/equipment - however do not have to be best in the state. New fire engine. Fire
equipment. Plymouth police equipment. Ambulances to keep up with all the new medical technology
needed to better serve the people. Buy decibel meter for police to enforce noise. Fire dept. Fire
department building - update or build new.

School buildings/teachers/supplies. Pave the high school parking lot. Continue to maintain our
schools. School maintenance. Public daycare. School growth - PRHS size? Do we need to consider
a regional middle school on existing property & a new high school? Somewhere else? Ensure
adequate educational facilities.

Downtown parking. Parking downtown. Municipal parking "facility" development. City owned parking
lot. Downtown parking.

Recreation facilities. Public access to Loon Lake. Riverfront Park. Recreation Center (pool, tennis,

) Use river area as resource. Town pool & outdoor track at PRHS would be nice!

Update tax maps and assessments.
