2d3.  Housing (28 written comments):
Need more affordable housing
Affordable housing for citizens to rent has always been very limited.
Affordable, safe, clean housing for families
Becoming more serious w/ rise in real estate prices
Cost to improve house or land is costly & a lot of excess paperwork.
First time home buying is too difficult.
For families that cannot buy & mod-income with children
Housing is high because of tax rate.
Lack of affordable housing due to excessive taxes
Lack of low & middle income housing
Lack of single family moderate income housing
Limited availability of moderate housing to rent or purchase
Medium priced housing, especially for elderly.
Need moderate & low income housing for people that make $10 over the limit for HUD
Well-planned mixed use, affordable housing is needed both for younger families & retired active
adults who don't play golf
Need small attractive subdivisions for families already living in Plymouth who would lie to relocate
to more attractive neighborhoods.
Not enough reasonably priced family homes. It seems everything is broken up into apartments &
rented to college students
Not enough rental properties for non-university people
Perhaps the lack of (affordable) housing will improve when PSU builds their new dorms.
Related to off campus housing
Single family housing of students & associated parking
Students buying single family houses
There are limited house rentals for families
There is none (affordable)
There needs to be more low income housing 2 & 3 bedroom apt. & affordable homes with lower
taxes to attract homeowners.
Traffic on TMH
Very difficult
More low income; Sr. citizens; nursing home
