2d5. Residential parking/parking restrictions (13 written comments):
University should build parking garage before they are allowed to build any more buildings in town.
To restrict parking makes the problem worse
The string of "reserved" signs on River Road - what an embarrassment.
The parking on Pleasant is awful. Limit cars allowed to be parked.
Sometimes hard to find parking
Parking fines & time limits driving customers out.
Parking access is getting worse given the now "leased parking"

It's hard driving down by the movie theater with both side parking. And it is very hard to pull out of
the bank b/c you can't see. Many times I thought I would be in an accident.

take back the parking that is now lawn at Silver Hall areas.

Related to off campus housing unsightly dumpsters
Dump should be closed 1 day a weekend. Trash litters road to dump and is not even monitored
Dumpsters continue to be allowed to overflow. Trashcans downtown are disgusting.
Homeowners in the agricultural zone should not be allowed to dump garbage on their front lawns
and then tell authorities it is compost!
I believe the town should institute residential trash pickup for all residents.
Lack of competition

Not everyone has a suitable method to get it to the dump w/out hiring an expensive outside
company to do it.
Provide dumpsters - keep area clean - no fraternities in town
With such high taxes we should have trash pickup.
The number of overflowing dumpsters, & various containment methods used around town are
unsightly. Perhaps the town should consider municipal refuse removal.
